I am a keen musician and have been lucky to play with my friend Matt Simpkins from time to time. I’ve also made the artwork for a couple of his albums. My favourite of these is Saltings. Many of the songs were written during COVID, and the album reflects Matt’s love of the Essex salt marsh and the peace and solace that he found there during such a destabilising time.
